Rain in Thailand does not mean your day is lost. Whether it’s a light tropical drizzle or a heavier shower, there are plenty of enjoyable ways to spend your time. And the temperatures are always pleasant — rain or shine.

Explore the impressive cave
If taxis are available at short notice, we highly recommend visiting the nearby Khao Wang Thong Cave, about 25 minutes drive from Le Petit Saint Tropez. Inside, it is dry (humidity aside) and truly impressive. A unique experience, also on a rainy day.

Relax with a good book
Open your room door, listen to the sound of the sea, and enjoy a quiet reading moment.
No book with you? Browse our small book collection in the restaurant.

If It’s Light Rain 🌧️

Simply go outside

*Take a beach walk with a raincoat. No raincoat with you? No problem. Raincoats are easy to find all over Thailand and are sold in nearly every local supermarket

*Explore the area or visit a temple
*Swim in the pool, or in the sea if it’s calm

If It’s Heavy Rain 🌧️🌧️

Slow down and enjoy the moment

*Have a long, relaxed meal
*Enjoy a good glass of wine.
*Feel free to bring your own card or board game and enjoy it in the restaurant

Book a massage in your room
Let the rain set the rhythm while you fully unwind.

All indoor options still apply
Even with heavier rain, you can still:
*Visit the cave (if transport is available)
*Read in your room or borrow a book from our restaurant
*Book a Thai or an oil massage
*Listen to the Thai language podcast
*Join a pottery or art workshop
*Go to the gym
*Ask us about a Muay Thai lesson

Rain in Thailand often comes and goes quickly. Until the sun returns, take the opportunity to slow down, explore something new, or simply relax.

We’re always happy to help you arrange transport or activities — just let us know.
